Classic 916iS: German UL Certification Success

The German ultralight certification for our 916iS marks a significant milestone in our journey. This versatile aircraft offers multiple capabilities that cater to different flying needs - from impressive cruise speeds to cost-efficient operations with a 2000-hour TBO. During the certification process, we extensively tested the aircraft in challenging Alpine conditions, where it particularly shone in glider towing operations, easily handling gliders up to 850kg. The aircraft's performance and versatility impressed every pilot who tested it. Whether they were looking for efficient touring capabilities or reliable towing operations, the feedback was consistently positive. With the first orders already coming in, we're particularly proud of this achievement and look forward to seeing these aircraft becoming a regular sight in the skies throughout 2025.

We're incredibly proud of our B23 912iSc, which is now in the final stages of certification. This aircraft builds on the exceptional foundation of the B23 platform - known for its class-leading cabin width, exceptional handling characteristics, and reliable construction. What makes this version special is the perfect integration of an economical engine with our new advanced automatic propeller system. Together, they deliver remarkable efficiency with fuel consumption around 16L per hour, while maintaining the performance that pilots expect from Bristell. This combination of comfort, efficiency and smart technology creates an aircraft that will serve a wide range of aviation needs - from flight schools focusing on student comfort and operating costs, to private owners seeking a sophisticated cross-country aircraft, to commercial operators requiring reliability and efficiency. Achieving full DOA certification (EASA.21J.766) wasn't just about paperwork, it was two and a half years of our team pushing boundaries, sometimes staying late into the night to perfect every detail. I still remember our team's faces when we got the news - pure joy mixed with well-deserved pride.

This certification represents a major milestone that significantly expands the aircraft's capabilities in challenging weather conditions. We are proud to announce the upcoming milestones for 2024, when we successfully achieve the first 300 flight hours with the new engine from Turbotech. The Bristell Turbine will soon be available as an Ultralight (UL) with a turbine engine in Europe, or as a Mosaic plane in the US. Key features include an exceptionally smooth sound, no vibration, and turbine power characteristics of up to 160hp.

Milestone reached: 100th delivery of the Bristell B23

The BRM AERO team has taken only 30 months to reach the impressive milestone of 100 Bristell Model B23 deliveries after the company’s first CS-23certified aircraft delivery occurred in early 2021.

The Czech-built Bristell B23 is the next generation low-wing airplane and is designed to satisfy the European CS23 and US FAR Part 23 certification requirements. Having undergone rigorous testing to achieve certification, it represents a solid commitment from Bristell by BRM AERO to safety, innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction.

“We take great pride in announcing this remarkable achievement in design and production. These 100 aircraft provide their owners with an exceptional flying experience, and stakes BRM AERO’s claim as a serious player within the global aviation community.”
