MOSAIC-Ready: B23M 916iS Takes Flight in the USA
The development of our B23 with the 916iS engine for the U.S. market's MOSAIC requirements represents an important strategic step forward. We've successfully adapted the aircraft to meet these new specifications, and the initial feedback from our demonstrations has been very promising. While we're still in the early stages, the interest we're seeing from the U.S. market confirms we're on the right track with this development.
Classic 916iS: German UL Certification Success
The German ultralight certification for our 916iS marks a significant milestone in our journey. This versatile aircraft offers multiple capabilities that cater to different flying needs - from impressive cruise speeds to cost-efficient operations with a 2000-hour TBO. During the certification process, we extensively tested the aircraft in challenging Alpine conditions, where it particularly shone in glider towing operations, easily handling gliders up to 850kg. The aircraft's performance and versatility impressed every pilot who tested it. Whether they were looking for efficient touring capabilities or reliable towing operations, the feedback was consistently positive. With the first orders already coming in, we're particularly proud of this achievement and look forward to seeing these aircraft becoming a regular sight in the skies throughout 2025.
B23 912iSc: Perfect Harmony of Proven Excellence and Innovation
We're incredibly proud of our B23 912iSc, which is now in the final stages of certification. This aircraft builds on the exceptional foundation of the B23 platform - known for its class-leading cabin width, exceptional handling characteristics, and reliable construction. What makes this version special is the perfect integration of an economical engine with our new advanced automatic propeller system. Together, they deliver remarkable efficiency with fuel consumption around 16L per hour, while maintaining the performance that pilots expect from Bristell. This combination of comfort, efficiency and smart technology creates an aircraft that will serve a wide range of aviation needs - from flight schools focusing on student comfort and operating costs, to private owners seeking a sophisticated cross-country aircraft, to commercial operators requiring reliability and efficiency. We can't wait to complete the certification process and deliver the first aircraft to the market.
Full DOA Certification: A Milestone of Trust
Achieving full DOA certification (EASA.21J.766) wasn't just about paperwork, it was two and a half years of our team pushing boundaries, sometimes staying late into the night to perfect every detail. We're now among the few Czech companies with this certification, joining an elite group of aircraft manufacturers. I still remember our team's faces when we got the news - pure joy mixed with well-deserved pride.
B23 915 IFR: Breaking Through the Clouds
After years of development and dedicated effort, we've achieved what many of our customers have long been waiting for - certification for the B23 915 IFR. This certification represents a major milestone that significantly expands the aircraft's capabilities in challenging weather conditions. While we're immensely proud to deliver a fully-capable IFR aircraft that meets the highest standards of safety and performance, we're also excited about the future. As new technologies emerge, we'll continue to enhance our IFR platform, integrating innovative solutions that will further expand the capabilities of our aircraft. This certification marks not just an achievement, but the beginning of new possibilities for our current and future Bristell pilots.
Production Milestone: 112 Aircraft Delivered in 2024
In 2024, the third consecutive year of maintaining strong production numbers, we delivered 112 aircraft. This success stems from the dedication of our 135 professionals at our facility in the Czech Republic, located in Kunovice, working hand in hand with our global network of distributors. What makes us particularly proud is seeing our customers return to expand their fleets or purchase new aircraft—there's no better testament to the exceptional quality of our planes. 1000th Aircraft Milestone: A Dream Realized
Few companies in our industry reach the milestone of manufacturing 1000 aircraft. This achievement represents years of dedication, countless hours of precise craftsmanship, and most importantly, the trust that pilots worldwide place in Bristell. We're immensely proud of this milestone, as it validates our commitment to building exceptional aircraft and confirms our position among the world's leading light aircraft manufacturers.
Bristell Turbine
We are proud to announce the upcoming milestones for 2024, when we successfully achieve the first 300 flight hours with the new engine from Turbotech. The Bristell Turbine will soon be available as an Ultralight (UL) with a turbine engine in Europe, or as a Mosaic plane in the US. Key features include an exceptionally smooth sound, no vibration, and turbine power characteristics of up to 160hp.
