Bristell Welcomes Canada’s Aerospace Innovators

Last week, our manufacturing facility in Kunovice hosted a high-level delegation from Canada’s aerospace sector. Representatives from Aero MontréalSTRIX Aero, research centers from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Canada Aerospace spent the day touring our production lines, discussing collaborative opportunities, and exploring how Czech and Canadian aerospace industries can work together.

This visit was organized by the Czech Aerospace Cluster, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Czech Embassy in Ottawa—bringing together key players from both countries to foster innovation and cross-border collaboration in the aerospace sector.

For BRM Aero, this visit represents more than just a networking opportunity—it’s a strategic step toward establishing a stronger presence in the North American market and finding the right partners to bring Bristell aircraft to Canadian pilots and flight schools.

Why Canada Matters

Canada has one of the world’s most vibrant general aviation communities. With vast distances, challenging weather conditions, and a culture that values outdoor adventure flying, Canadian pilots need aircraft that deliver reliability, performance, and safety. Our FAA-certified Bristell B23 family is built for exactly this environment.

But entering a new market requires the right partners, the right infrastructure, and the right conversations. That’s what this delegation visit was all about.

Innovation in Focus

The Canadian delegation brought together experts from research institutions, innovation clusters, and leading aerospace manufacturers—representing some of the most advanced capabilities in materials science, collaborative R&D, and aircraft component manufacturing.

During the intensive three-hour visit, we showcased our production capabilities and discussed our ongoing B23 certification processes. The conversations quickly turned technical, exploring areas where collaboration could drive innovation—from advanced materials and manufacturing efficiency to testing partnerships and market access.

International collaboration isn’t just about selling aircraft—it’s about learning from each other and building solutions that work for pilots everywhere,” said Milan Bristela, co-founder of BRM Aero. “Canada has incredible aerospace expertise, and we’re excited to explore how we can work together to bring innovative, reliable aircraft to their market.

What We’re Looking For

This visit marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term relationship with Canadian aerospace stakeholders. Specifically, we’re actively seeking:

Dealer partnerships – We’re looking for experienced aviation professionals in Canada who share our commitment to quality, customer support, and pilot education. If you operate a flight school, FBO, or aircraft sales business in Canada and are interested in representing Bristell, we want to hear from you.

Research collaboration – Canada’s research institutions bring cutting-edge capabilities in advanced materials, avionics integration, and testing. We’re open to joint R&D projects that can enhance our aircraft and accelerate innovation.

A Platform Built for North America

The Bristell B23 family is already making an impact in the U.S. market, with FAA certification complete and deliveries underway. The aircraft’s combination of advanced Garmin avionics, Rotax reliability, and superior handling characteristics makes it an ideal fit for cross-country flying, flight training, and personal aviation.

With variants ranging from the efficient B23-912iS to the high-performance B23-915 IFR, we offer solutions for different missions and budgets—all built with the same attention to detail and commitment to safety that has made Bristell a trusted name worldwide.

Let’s Start a Conversation

If you’re in Canada and interested in becoming part of the Bristell story—whether as a dealer, partner, or collaborator—we’d love to connect. The Canadian market represents a significant opportunity, and we’re committed to building relationships with people who share our passion for aviation and our vision for the future of flight.
